We’re incredibly excited to announce that Puzzling Places - 3D Jigsaw Sim is finally coming to Steam - for both PC VR AND flatscreen! 🧩✨
You’ll be able to enjoy your cozy and satisfying 3D jigsaw puzzles in a whole new way - even when you might not feel like putting on a headset!
Over 30 beautiful puzzles to explore
For the Steam release we will be remastering over 30 of our most beloved puzzles, adding additional attachments, animations and audio effects to really make them shine! We even just hired a composer to add more musical elements across the puzzles! We’ll have more to share with you about that very soon ☺️
New Playmodes
Playing in 2D feels quite a bit different than in VR - which is why we decided to offer 2 unique playmodes! Whether you're in the mood for a quick break or a deep, all-day challenge, we've got you covered:
- Arcade Mode: Short on time? Build your puzzle a handful of curated pieces at a time! Ideal for flow and building puzzles over multiple quick sessions!
- Tabletop Mode: start with all the pieces, sort arrange and build the fractured diorama piece by piece like a real world jigsaw.
As always: puzzles will come in multiple difficulty levels: 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 pieces – some even go up to 1000!
Cross-device & cozy
Lean back and puzzle on your Steam Deck, get serious on your desktop or step inside the puzzle with VR - Puzzling Places will be optimized across different devices, so you can pick your favorite way to play.
Why is this exciting for Quest, PSVR and Pico Players?
Taking Puzzling Places to Steam will be a huge step for us - and we think it’s something for you all to be excited about as well! Even if you will never play there! Here’s why:
The first thing to be excited about: we will bring all the remastered puzzles back to VR as well! We’ll be putting in a lot of work to make our most beloved puzzles even nicer - and you will be able to enjoy all of the updates to those puzzles as well!
Reason number two: We hope this will enable us to bring Puzzling Places to an even bigger audience - which would finally allow us to work on even more ambitious puzzle projects in the future that were just out of reach yet. More iconic locations, more exciting collaborations, more intricate animations and sound. We have our heads full of ideas and we can’t wait to make them a reality!

We’d like to ask you all for a favour! Bringing a game to Steam these days is incredibly daunting. The amount of games being released each year has been skyrocketing and it gets harder and harder to cut through the algorithm and reach an audience.
